Telford Homes signs deal for 894 build to rent homes in Battersea

Telford Homes signs deal with build to rent investor Greystar to deliver 894 build to rent homes at Nine Elms in Battersea.

Telford Home has signed a pre-construction development agreement with build to rent investor firm Greystar, which will see the delivery of 894 build to rent homes, and facilities close to the River Thames at Nine Elms in Battersea. They will assist in acquiring detailed planning approval for the London borough site.

US-based Greystar has exchanged contracts to acquire two plots of land, which cover 2.67 acres from Royal Mail sold for £101M.

The new development is within walking distance to transport links, including the two new underground stations which will be built as part of the Northern Line Extension.

If the full plans are approved, Telford Homes will enter a full design and build contract to deliver the scheme for a fixed price.
