The Constructing Excellence in London and South East Awards 2015 were held in London last week, with over 540 construction industry professionals attending the event.
The awards’ mantra is to ‘recognise the best and inspire the rest’ within the construction industry and to celebrate outstanding performance in the London and South East region in 2014.
Construction Excellence is a not-for-profit body and a trusted partner to the UK Government. It is supported nationally by thousands of companies committed to developing and sharing knowledge between industry, government, clients, research and education.
The organisation, through its supply chain, plays a fundamental role in driving the Construction 2025 strategy, which outlines a vision and a plan for long-term strategy by government and industry to continue to work together to promote the success of the UK construction sector.
Peter Hansford, Government Construction Adviser, commented: “Recognising that Constructing Excellence works with companies that move quicker and faster than others, these awards give prominence to organisations aspiring to ‘work better together’. I challenge every director in every company to use these awards to improve their business performance and to identify next year’s winners.”
