FTA Transport Manager Conference to tour in autumn

The Freight Transport Association’s Transport Manager Conference series is set to go nationwide again this autumn, giving valuable preparation for the upcoming year to transport managers and those responsible for road transport fleets.

Those delegates who attend the FTA conferences will be fully briefed on compliance issues, vehicle and fleet efficiency, operational efficiency, driver management and recruitment and retention. The conference will provide and a clear plan of action from each session, plus greater knowledge and confidence in their plans for the year ahead.

The programme for Transport Manager 2015, sponsored by Volvo Trucks, will include a keynote speech by the local Traffic Commissioner and presentations by the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), Highways England and Transport Focus.

FTA’s Transport Manager Conference series will be touring the UK from September to December 2015:

Wednesday 21 October – Chepstow

Wednesday 4 November – Durham
Wednesday 11 November – Sheffield
Wednesday 18 November – Southampton
Wednesday 2 December – Kenilworth, Coventry

The cost for FTA members is £295 plus VAT for the first delegate and £265 plus VAT for subsequent delegates; for non-FTA members £395 plus VAT for the first delegate and £365 plus VAT for subsequent delegates.
