How it all began…
Pro Estimating Services was set up following frequent requests for an estimating service that uses Easy Price Pro estimating software and produces the job winning, professional reports and fully detailed quotation. More than 6,000 tradesmen use Easy Price Pro, sometimes having so much work to price, they wanted a service that could do this for them – but still wanted those job winning reports.
Out of this, Pro Estimating Services was born…
What differentiates Pro Estimating Services from the rest?
Pro Estimating Services is the cheapest estimating service on the market.
Other services merely produce a price for the build. Whilst PES does offer this service (at the lowest comparable cost), it ALSO offers more… a full detailed written quotation to wow clients, accompanied by a work schedule, material order sheet, bill of quantities, summary breakdowns for your client, summaries for your business, profit charts and much more! The software that is used to generate the estimate and the reports was designed with a builder/tradesperson in mind, so the reports are clear and easy to extract information from.
The gap in the market is that no other service offered the extent of the reports that Professional Estimating Service do.
What do we offer?
Standard Cost
Similarly to most other estimating services, we offer… a Job Cost report which gives you an itemised break down of prices for each stage of the job in question. The report is extensive in itself as it details the prices from a packet of screws, right through the material prices for a roof covering a new build.
Full Set of Reports
- 2 x Summaries (Business & Client Copies) includes a breakdown of each piece of work priced in the estimate. It includes profits and overheads, and provides a pie chart displaying estimated costs & profits. The client report will show each section of work priced, with a breakdown of materials, labour & plant costs as well as labour hours.
- 2 x Bill of Quantities (Business & Client Copies) gives you a breakdown of all the materials and plant equipment required for the job, as well as quantities. The report can include profit and overheads which is distributed throughout the totals and labour hours. This can be included or omitted depending on your preference.
- 1 x Material Order List (Business Report) gives a concise breakdown of the materials required. This can be provided to the merchant. Two variations of this report are provided-one listing all the materials by work sections, and the other groups it by material type and lists them into categories if you wish to order in bulk for certain items.
- 2 x Work and Payment Schedules (Business & Client Copies) this report include a Gantt Chart, a full breakdown of work-including expected start and finishing dates, and duration of each section of work estimated. The payment schedule will be broken down into logical stages; with each payment correlating with the section of work estimated for. An initial payment can be included in this report.
- 1 x Written Quote (Business / Client Report) gives you a detailed written quotation to provide for your client. This can include your company logo (if provided). The report comes along with an introductory paragraph as well as detailing and itemising each section of work priced. For new builds and extensions the Written Quote will also state what has not been included in the estimate-so the client is clear what will be provided for them. This report comes in the format of Word Document enabling you to customise/edit the report if required.
This enables not only the tradesman to have a full understanding of the financial aspects of the job, but too, the client have a greater understand of the time scale, stages of work involved and of course cost.

Health and Safety Templates

Since heavy requirements have been placed on the construction industry to meet the current criteria raised by legislation, there couldn’t be a more vital time to invest in the all-important Health and Safety reports.

Can become the most time consuming part of the job, but if you seek a well written document, outlining all the expected preliminary information expected in a legally binding report, then look no further.
In reverse, Self- Builders and first time project seekers can also benefit from the estimating reports we provide. It enables them to understand the costings, and forecasting in terms of hiring the right person/team for the job, and an understanding of work and finance involved.
