Efficiency North Procure Heating, Electrical & Roofing Framework has appointed construction companies that will provide social housing landlords with a range of services for elemental replacement works.
The new framework will run alongside Efficiency North’s Installers Framework and offer a wide range of options for members looking for a mixed economy or self-delivery approach.
It is envisaged the framework will see housing providers able to save on costs by taking advantage of volume procurement and collaborative purchasing strategies.
Landlords will be able to benefit from benchmarking across a range of suppliers and contractors to achieve best value.
Social value measures are also included within the framework to fully exploit the framework’s positive impact in local communities.
Contractors will be required to offer a minimum of two full time training opportunities per £1m project value spent through the framework.
Efficiency North said that the framework has been designed with users in mind to offer maximum ease and flexibility of use, including a range of available contract options including JCT, NEC and PPC.
